Code in the veins.
Altitude in the soul.
I write code for a living and collect altitude for the soul. Born in India, I felt the pull of the Himalayas early - that mix of snow-capped peaks, thin air, and impossible scale. I have spent more annual leaves than I can count up there: trekking to glaciers, hiking in high altitude valleys, standing at passes where the wind has strong opinions about your presence. The camera comes everywhere — some moments are worth reliving exactly as they happened.
Back at sea level, I am a software engineer and architect, eighteen years of it, across healthcare, banking, capital market and other industries. The domains change, the craft does not: build systems that are fast, resilient, and dependable.
The two lives rhyme more than you would think. Every trek and every system starts identically — a rough idea, an optimistic timeline, and a guarantee that something unexpected will happen by day three. The mountains taught me to stay calm when it does. That lesson has resolved many production incidents and strengthened my resilience.
These days I am in Canada, beginning what feels like a second arc. New country, new city, same instincts: find the hard problem, go towards it, figure it out on the way.
